Twin Angels Academy Preparatory School is a non-profit private school that serves general education and special education students in grades K-3. Our Core Values consist of:

Our Philosophy
Twin Angels ensures that curriculum, instruction, and evaluation are flexible and tailored to the individual needs of all students in the classroom, whether that is students with or without exceptionalities. This allows Twin Angels to tailor our teaching and learning needs for each student. We focus on student’s strengths, we take the students learning capacities into account, and offer each student a full opportunity to benefit from a diverse curriculum. Twin Angels believe in microculture responsiveness which allows us to consider student’s background and academic experience when developing lessons and building relationships. Our staff is sensitive and works diligent to be culturally competent to the students that we service.
Small Class Size: In our 10-student class, each student will have three times more individual face time with their teacher. This type of educating is critical, both for development of skills and for inspiring students. With more one-on-one time with their teacher, students are likely to have a greater sense that their teacher cares for them, and when students feel like someone they look up to cares about their work, they excel.
Enrich Learning Environment: We offer flexible learning where students can be adaptive and interactive with fellow learners as well as instructors. We set goals, analyze learners needs, keep it positive, provide feedback, celebrate success, employ interactive games and activities. In our positive learning environments learners feel involved and responsible for their learning while being comfortable enough to fully participate in group and individual activities. Our learning environment pushes students learning capacity with altering strategies and teaching practices.
Technology: Technology is integrated into the curriculum. Our students who utilize technology are more engaged. Many students who receive special education benefit from technology that helps them write, spell, read and do mathematical computation. Our teachers allow learners to read leveled readers or allow students to choose research topics that fit their interests. In addition, teachers assign programs to help students remediate or expand their knowledge so that students can process or investigate topics further.
